BACKGROUND STORY

In late December, Greta took a week off from work at the PUB. She and her sister  Alva had been promised work as extras in a motion picture.  This historical drama was to be produced and directed by John W. Brunius. As a Skandias Filmbyrå (Production Company) it also featured Gösta Ekman. He was one of Sweden's finest actors. The film was titled En Lyckoriddare (A Fortune Hunter, also known as The Gay Cavalier). Greta and Alva were cast as maid-servants in a bawdy tavern scene.

According to actor Eugene Nifford, a dance sequence was shot too. Nifford claimed to be one of the cavaliers, said that he chose Greta Gustafsson as his partner. True or not the scene wasn't in the final movie and Nifford didn't even was mentioned in the brief cast list. The film premiered on March 14, 1921, at the Sture Teatern in Stockholm. The film is "lost".
