A Woman of Affairs : Greta Garbo's Lesbian Past (USA 1990)
This was a 90 minutes lecture by Mary Wings with historian Eric Garber.
In 1993, the lesbian novelist Mary Wings made a touching "Garbo tribute" with her friend Eric Garber, who had recently died of an AIDS-related illness. With clips from her best films and material from other sources, this look back at her career will attempt to begin an open and honest reevaluation of the public and private lives of one of the screen's brightest and most intriguing stars...

Garbo's lesbianism has been one of the best-kept Hollywood secrets during her life; now, after her death, it's already started to generate exciting posthumous speculation and publication.
Gay and lesbian historians have long been aware of Garbo's affairs; documentation can now be revealed without threat of litigation. With clips from her best films and material from other sources, this look back at her career will attempt to begin an open and honest reevaluation of the public and private lives of one of the screen's brightest and most intriguing stars.
Among the sources included, we'll be presenting segments from Garbo's lover Mercedes de Acosta's 1966 book Here Lies the Heart. She describes their topless vacation in Silver Lake (unexplained photos were published in Oui magazine), and also claims to have been the originator of Queen Christina , Garbo's most famous cross-dressing film.
Many unrealized projects between them included Garbo as Dorian Gray in Oscar Wilde's story of the same name (with Marilyn Monroe as a young girl ruined by Dorian!). Other information includes Louise Brooks' confession to her biographer that she and Garbo spent the night together. Even her gaze, tells Brooks, "was intense and eloquent."
New revelations about Garbo will not leave her in the shadowy realm of innuendo for much longer.

| Adam & Yves (USA 1974)
This is an Gay Male porn film. It contains what may be the last film footage of Greta Garbo used in a commercial film. Her scene was filmed from a high angle as she was on one of her famous New York walks.
The footage is brief. If you're a Garbo fan this is an interesting piece of film to see. Difficult to find – it was apparently available on video tape at one time.

Garbo walking
An article about the film:
Sometimes, reviewing sections of some publications, we discover details like this one..... In a recent film and filming page of questions and answers they informed about the curriculum of Peter of Rome, a specialist in gay erotic films, with a series of shorts films group together, they use them for the first time to premiere them as a feature film. The erotic films of Peter of Rome, in 1973, one of them Hot Pants, was elected as the best in the Wet Dreams Festival in Amsterdan in 1971. (due to a great selection of this kind of films The Wet Films Festival was named).

Since then, Peter of Rome, filmed the feature films, Adam and Ives, The Destroying Angel. In the first mentioned, Adam and Ives , there's been a surprising and unknow fact that Garbo makes her comeback in films after 35 years of absence. Peter de Roma was lucky of film her walking by 1st. Avenue, New York, and this take is in the final cut of the feature film.

| It Happened in Hollywood (USA 1937)
This is a little comedy with a brilliant gimmick. Some of Hollywood's biggest stars of the time (1937) make brief appearances in this film, including Clark Gable, Greta Garbo, James Cagney, W.C. Fields, Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd.
Now here's the gimmick: all of those big stars are played in this film by their own stand-ins, the wanna-be actors and actresses who had full-time employment in the Hollywood studios but who only kept working by copying the physical appearance of a better-known actor or actress and following that actor from one film role to the next.
